Redacting Redactions (Mark for...)

I made an interesting discovery yesterday. I was editing a
PDF presentation as I didn’t have the original PowerPoint file. I’ve learned
the TouchUp Text tool doesn’t always work as it should. Even deleting one
character of a line that I want to remove can cause multiple lines to jump on
top of each other (this isn’t the interesting discovery) as in the attached
example.

Since the text I initially wanted to remove was reversed out

on a black background, I decided it would be simple to use the Redaction Tool.
Further along there was black text on a white background to redact. In the
second case, I used white to redact, which is my personal default redaction
color. There are a wide variety of colors to choose from when redacting, as
well as selecting your own. Here are some examples:

As I was going through the PDF presentation there were alsoareas I wanted to highlight. In addition to the Commenting toolbar I also opened the Comment list. The interesting discovery was that the Mark forRedaction(s) are also listed in the Comment list. These are the items marked for redaction and selectingone, click on the Trash to remove it. This was useful as I was going throughthe presentation, I sometimes selected the wrong the to redact, meaning tohighlight it instead. Once redaction is applied, the marked items disappearfrom the list. Here is an example of what it looks like (not from thepresentation):

I've found this very handy and good to know. I now open the Comment list  when I'm doing multiple redactions.
